Dartington Food Fair – 28th – 29th May Totnes If you’re looking to sample the true taste of Devon delights, then the Dartington Food Fair at the historical ‘The Shops at Dartington’ is a must. This two day event features street food stalls, an outdoor bar serving local cider, ale and gin and cookery workshops from some of Devon’s favourite foodies! You can also enjoy local produce prepared at two on-site cafes as well as a special discount through all the stores at the ‘The Shops at Dartington.’ Once you’ve finished sampling some delicious local food you can sit back and take in some live music while the kids enjoy some of the onsite children’s activities.
The Ferry Boat Inn Dittisham This quaint, and strikingly pink, pub looks over the water and offers good home cooked food with home cooked portions! The Ferry Boat Inn is best accessed by ferry from Greenway Quay and on arrival you’ll be greeted by a fully loaded bar, offering the best in local ale, cider and wine.
Cockington Court Food and Craft Market 28th May & 25th June Torquay Set in the grounds of an award-winning country park and historic manor, the Cocking Court Food and Craft Market features unique, handmade crafts and fresh locally farmed produce. Find the Cockington Court Food and Craft market in the court grounds on the last Sunday of every month.
The Curious Kitchen Brixham If you want a taste of the modern then look no further than the Curious Kitchen. This new cafe offers fresh, healthy modern food with options for every dietary requirement. The staff at The Curious Kitchen make as much from scratch from possible and have taken a long time to find their perfect coffee roaster. The Curious Kitchen offers lunch and brunch throughout the week and a three-course supper on Friday and Saturday evenings, but you’ll need to book in advance as reservations are required for evening meals.

The Maltsters Arms Tuckenhay The Maltsters Arms is tucked away in the countryside of Tuckenhay but is well worth the journey for its selection of pub cooked fresh fish. Calling itself “the fish pub on the dart” this riverside pub offers a wide range of grub with a focus on fresh, local dishes and fish market specials including whole crabs, fish and chips and Surf ’n’ Turf! The Maltsters Arms is child and dog friendly so is a great place to eat for all the family!


Teignmouth Farmers’ Market – 27th May Teignmouth If you’d rather do a bit of cooking for yourself, then you can find some of the freshest ingredients available at the Teignmouth Farmers’ Market. You’ll be able to meet the farmers themselves as well as sample their produce. If you want good, fresh food then you won’t get much fresher than what’s available from Teignmouth Farmers Market.
The Cherub Inn Dartmouth The Cherub Inn dates back to 1380 and is the oldest pub in the area, and still retains many of the original architectural features. The Cherub Inn offers a wide selection of pub classics with a great choice of local ales to go with them!
